APRIL 27, 2024Barnyard Babies Family Festival, 10 AM – 4 PM. See barnyard animals, antique tractors and farm equipment. Ride the train and ponies, dive into a corn pile and learn how to harvest honey and milk a cow. See Great American Kites’ giant animal kites fly in the sky. Food trucks too. So much more to see and do! $10 for ages 13 and up, $5 for kids ages 3-12, free for ages 2 and under. Get more details and purchase advance tickets. |
MAY 4, 2024Tractor Cruise – Benefit ride for the Ag Center hosted by the Greater KC Two Cylinder Club. Tractor enthusiasts gather to drive a 40-mile loop through rural Wyandotte and Leavenworth Counties with various stops. Open to all tractor makes, models and years. Pre-registration March 1-April 14. JULY 27, 2024Show ‘n Shine Car Show & Potato Festival – See street rods, classics and trucks at this 51st annual show, presented by the Genuine Chevy GMC Truck Club of KC. Top 45, Best of Show and Director’s Choice awards. PLUS tractors from the Greater Two Cylinder Tractor Club. 8 AM–3 PM, admission is $5 per person (age 3 and under free). Registration $20 per car (8 AM). NEW THIS YEAR! POTATO FESTIVAL .1k Tater Trot at 10:30, Spudtacular family games and races 11-2. Visit the tater patch and dig your own to take home. |
OCTOBER 19, 2024International Lineman’s Rodeo – More than 5,000 utility linemen from all over the world compete in various pole-climbing contests. Bring your lawn chair and watch the competition! Plus enjoy the food and crafts vendors, music and games for kids. Admission is free! |
