Fun for everyone!
You’ll enjoy exploring the museum exhibits and living history displays. No matter your age, there’s something for everyone! If you are visiting alone, with family and friends, or with an organized group, you’ll find have an entertaining and informative experience. We welcome group tours and activities, or take a self-guided tour. We recommend that you allow approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours for your visit.
Schools and Educators
We reach audiences of all ages, learning levels and life experiences through a variety of educational activities. These services include educators’ workshops, research opportunities and an array of educational programs, with a special emphasis on reaching youth. Our programs are created to be age-appropriate and aligned with state curricular standards.
Scouts, 4-H and Other Youth Groups
The Ag Center education staff can customize any of our program offerings to fulfill needed badge or pin requirements. Many families attend special event days, or enjoy taking an autumn evening hayride and roasting marshmallows over the campfire, singing songs and telling tall tales!
Eagle and Gold Scout Projects
We are fortunate to have Scouts working on their Eagle or Gold Scout award participate in an array of projects. Recent undertakings have included painting historic buildings, updating signage, making repairs on the nature trail, building handicap ramps, making benches for visitors’ comfort, restoring machinery and implements, and maintaining the grounds.
