Do you have a passion for agriculture? Do you like working with the public? Are you good with your hands? Join our dedicated team of more than 40 volunteers who bring their diverse skills and interests to the National Ag Center.
Volunteers opportunities include:
A volunteer project is a marvelous opportunity to participate behind the scenes. In exchange for your valuable time and talent, you can enjoy the museum’s collections, socialize with other volunteers, meet interesting visitors and participate in fun projects.
Individuals interested in scheduled volunteer hours can participate on a weekly, monthly or on-call basis. Group volunteer opportunities exist for families, clubs, companies and service organizations. Groups consisting of individuals under the age of 14 should provide adult supervision.

- Greeter (welcome guests at the entrance and answer questions)
- Docent/tour guide (lead tours, answer questions about exhibits and collections)
- Facility maintenance (grounds maintenance, building repairs)
- Office help
- Train operator
- Assist with events
- Assist with educational tours for school children
