Come out to this fun family festival and experience life on a farm. So much to see and do in the Discovery Zones.
No matter your age – whether 2, 22 or 62 – there’s something for everyone!
Meet some new furry friends and get reacquainted with your
barnyard favorites – alpacas, goats, cows, sheep, goslings, horses,
rabbits – a barnyard menagerie! Free pony rides too.
Kids have fun riding pedal tractors and
bouncing on farm hoppers.
Museum of Farming
Discover treasures on a scavenger hunt in the Museum of Farming and get a fun prize.
Meet the Farmer
“Know Your Food, Know Your Farmer.” Meet farmers and learn
how they grow crops and raise livestock. Questions about
farming or food? They’re happy to talk with you.
Meet local producers and purchase their products
as you leave the event – flowers, produce, meat,
cheese, honey, jellies and jams, breads. Yum!
Tractor Petting Zoo
Climb aboard and explore all kinds of tractors.
Imagine harvesting a field of cotton, wheat or
soybeans in a combine cab simulator.
There’s so much inspiration found on the farm!
Kids delve into their creative sides with
Take a hay wagon ride to see Great American Kites’
giant animal shaped balloon kites dance in the sky.
Touch-a-Truck is back by popular demand! Get your picture taken with
Mater and Lightning. Peer through a humongous tire. Explore cement
trucks, fire trucks, tow trucks and construction equipment.
There’s so much more too!
Take a scenic train ride around the pond and through the woods. Learn how to milk a cow. See how drones are used in agriculture. Watch a working blacksmith. Pretend you’re in class in the 100-year-old one room schoolhouse. Harvest honey from honeycombs. Watch an artist carve a wooden masterpiece with a chain saw. Relax and enjoy the musical entertainment provided by “Shermie at the Piano” (Sherman Wiehe and his band). Satisfy hungry appetites in the Feedlot and enjoy a picnic on the lawn.
