Plan Your Visit

You’ll enjoy exploring the museum exhibits and living history displays. No matter your age, there’s something for everyone! If you are visiting alone, with family and friends or with an organized group, you’ll find that our tour experiences are entertaining as well as informative. We welcome group tours and activities, or take a self-guided tour. We recommend you allow approximately 3 hours in order to have enough time to enjoy your visit to the fullest.

Due to COVID-19 please CALL FIRST and let us know whether you would like a guided tour or self-guided tour. That will enable us to make sure we have the appropriate tour staff and safety protocols when you arrive. Call 913-721-1075.

Hours: Beginning October 2, 2021 our regular museum hours end. Our 2022 season will open with Barnyard Babies Family Festival on April 23. If you are traveling through Kansas City and would like to stop by, or have a group of school children who would like an educational field trip, please call to make arrangements. We are always happy to show you the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame.  Call 913-721-1075.

Admission:  Suggested donation of minimum $5 per person.
