Be a volunteer and have fun too!

The National Ag Center relies on volunteers to be a part of our mission, which is to educate the public about the history and future of agriculture in America.

Volunteers are needed year ’round for:

  • Greeting guests
  • Assisting with special events
  • History demonstrations
  • Educational tours
  • Driving the train
  • Artifacts and research
  • Grounds keeping
  • Repairs and maintenance
  • Office help

Individuals interested in scheduled volunteer hours can participate on a weekly, monthly or on-call basis. Group volunteer opportunities exist for families, clubs, companies and service organizations. Groups consisting of individuals under the age of 14 should provide adult supervision.

If you would like to volunteer, please download the volunteer form, complete it and mail or email it to us. Thank you for your interest in volunteering!
