What is Agriculture?

We are continually amazed, challenged, and motivated by the number of students who visit the museum with little knowledge of how agriculture affects their daily lives. The Ag Center reaches audiences of all ages, learning levels, and life experiences through a variety of educational activities. These services include educators’ workshops, research opportunities, and an array of educational programs, with a special emphasis on reaching area youth. Our programs are created to be age-appropriate and aligned with curricular standards.

We believe students learn more when they can touch, see, hear, and interact with a subject. We strive to offer activity-based learning experiences that are alive, meaningful, and exciting!
